Straight answers

The questions people actually ask.

Does this work in my state?
Yes — that is the design. Regulation differs at every state line, so the course never assumes California. Each lesson teaches the rule that holds everywhere and then walks you through finding your own state’s regulator, statute and forms. Module 2 is entirely about doing that for yourself.
Do I need to be a nurse?
In most states, no. A non-medical home care agency can be owned by anyone who meets the ownership and background requirements, and where a qualified administrator is required, that person can be hired. I am not a nurse either. The course shows you how to confirm your own state’s rule rather than trusting a rumour.
Do I have to hire CNAs?
Usually not. Most states require registered home care aides, which is a different and lower bar. We staff only CNAs at Premium Care because we chose to — it is a differentiator, not a legal requirement. The course is explicit about which is which so you can make that call deliberately instead of copying us by accident.
Who actually pays for home care?
Mostly families paying privately. Beyond that: long-term care insurance policies, benefits available to eligible veterans, and state waiver programs where your state runs one. Module 1 covers who pays in your county and Module 7 covers billing each of them.
How long does it take?
The videos run 8.8 hours in total. Working through them properly — producing the documents rather than watching — most people take a few months, and licensing timelines are set by your state, not by us.
